Dentures
We create quality and custom-made dentures, which are comfortable and have a natural-looking appearance.
Elderly people tend to lose their teeth due to the natural process of tooth decay and ageing. Losing teeth causes difficulty chewing, and this may lead to them not getting enough nutrients. Also, when people lose teeth, the jaw bone that held the teeth in place does not maintain its height and starts to waste away.
How dentures can help
Do you need dentures?
If you've already lost one tooth or several teeth, the need for dentures is immediate. The longer you go without dentures, the more risk you have of losing additional teeth. Sometimes, having loose teeth also requires you to get dentures. Without the support of all the teeth, the remaining teeth shift faster and become weaker. You may also need dentures if chewing is painful, especially when you eat hard or chewy foods.
Types of dentures we offer
Full dentures: Our complete dentures are made from a plastic base that is coloured to replicate gum tissue. The denture includes a full set of acrylic teeth.
Partial Denture: A partial denture sits on a base that attaches to your remaining natural teeth. Sometimes crowns are placed onto the natural teeth and act as anchors for the denture.
