Children aren't always the most cooperative during dental visits, which is why Dr Lan treats children with the utmost care to make them feel comfortable and relaxed.

When should you bring your child to the dentist?

Babies usually develop their first teeth at around six months of age. We recommend that you bring in your baby for their first dental visit at six months after their first tooth erupts.

Children start losing their first set of teeth at around 6 or 7 years old. Eventually, these teeth are replaced with permanent teeth. Children need to adopt proper oral hygiene and dental care from a young age to prevent disease and tooth decay that can cause a lifetime of pain and complications. As a qualified dentist, Dr Lan can provide your child with the care needed to protect and preserve their natural teeth.
